SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

- you can kill the guard wich is your first objective, a new objective appears, it is to stop the electricity.

- if you stop the electricity the light wont be able to see you and you will be able to free bob without a sweat,

but if you dont stop it the light will detect you and two guards will attack you.
